MPP Global Solutions & CricInfo launch the first SMS service to deliver cricket scores to mobile phones around the world

The service, which is available worldwide, sends SMS text messages to mobile phones every time a wicket falls in every Test or One Day International. Fans can also receive score updates at the end of each session of play.

Using MPP's market leading SMS Content Delivery Platform, CricInfo is able to send SMS text messages to cricket fans wherever they may be in the world. The service covers all Test Matches and One-Day Internationals so fans can keep up to date with their team, whenever and wherever they are playing.

A user simply purchases blocks of service credits using MPP's secure mWallet and then, each time a CricTxt Alert is received, 20 service credits are deducted from their account. Each credit costs only £0.01 GBP (1 pence).
