GRFC launches new Cherry & Whites TXT Service

Ahead of the new Zurich Premiership Season, Gloucester Rugby Club have
launched a fantastic new mobile phone text service that will enable all
fans to get the latest official news from the Zurich Championship Winners
straight to their phone.
Cherry & Whites TXT will send all the hottest information on transfers,
injuries, team and ticket news and all the latest scores both home and
away directly to your mobile phone, the moment it happens.
Marketing Manager Charlie Little is delighted to be offering the package
ahead of the pre-season friendly against Newport at Kingsholm on Friday
night and he sees it as the start of a new era for the club: "This is
a fantastic development both for the club and the fans. Everyone knows
what fantastic supporters we have here at Gloucester Rugby Club. They
are passionate about their team and they deserve to be kept informed on
all the latest news and information about the club.
"We are now beginning to realise the potential of new technologies and
this will give every supporter the chance to feel more involved with the
club. Following the redesign of our award winning website, the Cherry
& Whites TXT Service is another facility that will allow the fans to know
things pretty much as soon as we do."
The service could not be easier to subscribe to. To sign up for Cherry
& Whites TXT you simply send the text message GRFC ON to the mobile number
82540, ensuring a space is left between the words GRFC and ON. This will
immediately register you to all the latest news.
If you wish to be more selective in the information you receive you can
also register to any of these groups by simply entering GRFC ON followed
by the appropriate number:
1) Daily News
2) Home Match News
3) Away Match News
4) Teamsheets and after match quotes as they are submitted
5) Ticket news as it is announced
For example, if you want the latest daily, home match and ticket news
send GRFC ON 1,2,5 to 82540.
It really is as simple as that. You have the freedom to change your selections
at any time. If you wish to unsubscribe at any time text GRFC OFF to stop
all messages being sent.
More information on the service will be available in the match day programmes
and you can also subscribe to the Cherry & Whites TXT service by visiting
the official club website at www.gloucesterrugbyclub.com . Text messages
will cost no more than 25p each and an average of 30 will be sent each
month.
