Silva Screen Records Group, one of the U.K.’s most renowned names in film music, has selected MPP to power its online eCommerce platform. Silva Screen has opted to utilise MPP’s iShop Professional and iShop Mobile services to sell a combination of physical, digital and mobile products.

iShop gives Silva Screen a multitude of exciting functionality, including customer wish-lists, multi-currency, Paypal payments, eWallet capabilities and loyalty credits, which reward customers for purchasing from the site and encourage additional shopping. iShop provides a complete hosted and managed physical and digital store solution and is designed to Silva Screen’s look and feel. iShop is equipped with search, navigation, basket and checkout tools for the purchase of any type of physical, digital, mobile or subscription based product or service. This means Silva Screen can add any combination of products (video, music download, CD, ringtone or fan club membership, etc) and pay for them all in one simple checkout process. MPP will deliver the music or video download to the consumer’s desktop, a ringtone / game / wallpaper to their mobile phone, a digitised video clip to the fan’s email inbox, subscribe the consumer to an online premium content service. Silva Screen are able to upload content 24/7 via MPP’s easy-to-use web-interface where all physical, mobile and digital products are managed such as editing product information, loading digital content, amending pricing, adding/editing categories within the store, availability, postage rules and so on.

iShop Mobile makes it possible for consumers to capitalise ‘on the moment’ when consumers first see or hear an advertisement; and when they are most likely to respond to it. Consumers can directly interact with the advert by sending one simple text message to a mobile shortcode to initiate the shopping process via a mobile internet (WAP) site.

Purchase is simple and future shopping is encouraged with a password system making one-click transactions possible and repeat transactions in seconds. The fast-buy functionality enables music fans to simply click a “buy now” button on the site, and for the product to be purchased from their account. No forms to fill in, no credit card details to add, no text to send. One click and the product is purchased and made available for download, delivered to the mobile device or alerts made to suppliers to deliver the physical products.
