With txt2donate it is possible to capitalise on the moment when your charity supporters first see or hear your advertisement; and when they are most likely to respond to it. Donors can directly interact with you by sending one simple text message to a mobile shortcode to initiate mobile donations. And completing the transaction couldn't be easier. In short, MPP handle a sequence of events that enables this to happen:

1. MPP receives the inbound text message.
2. The message keyword is matched against the MPP database.
3. MPP charge the consumer's eWallet (stored credit card details) by matching the phone number, which we retrieve from the inbound text message.
4. MPP make the donation available to you via a monthly statement.

WAP Push

A WAP Push is a way of automatically loading a WAP site onto a consumer’s mobile phone. If there is no eWallet set-up in point 3 above, MPP send a WAP Push to the mobile number so the user can both make a donation, as well as create an eWallet so that future donations are even easier.

Consumer Interaction

MPP’s eWallet technology enables your supporters to donate to the charity in the easiest and most efficient way. Once registered, eWallet information (debit/credit card and mobile phone data) is stored in our secure database, which allows your customers to purchase repeatedly with ease by simply entering a password or four digit PIN. Donors can then interact in real-time with newspaper, TV, magazine and radio adverts by using a keyword and SMS shortcode.

Gift Aid

The MPP txt2donate service can mark any donations where gift aid can be applied in the monthly statements. This is a straightforward and simple feature that will give you a clear understanding of the amount of gift aid you can claim from all mobile donations.

Sales

Not only can you accept donations via this service but, should you wish to sell products such as tickets to charity events, calendars, clothing or any form of digital/mobile product then MPP can integrate these offerings into your branded WAP microsite.

eWallet

Creating an eWallet is easy and simple for your customers. With the eWallet, you are removing the barriers to repeated donations. Your donors will use the service time and time again if the transaction experience is straightforward and secure. You can feel at ease that your business does not need to store any of this sensitive information itself. MPP are one of fourteen members registered for electronic storage of credit (e-money) with the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
