Chelsea Video Highlights Direct to Your Email Inbox
Chelsea fans can now get goals and highlights delivered direct to their email inbox after every Premiership and Champions League game, beginning with the table topping clash against Arsenal on Saturday 21st February.
Chelsea fans will be able to subscribe to the service or request individual match clips by simply sending a text message or using a micropayment solution, CFC credits provided by MPP Global, on the Club’s official site www.chelseafc.com.
By including their email address in a text message, supporters can request match highlights to be sent to their inbox in seconds whilst at the game, at home or even on the move. For each clip they will receive a text message confirming highlights have been sent to their inbox and that their mobile phone bill will be charged.
Alternatively, fans around the world can use CFC credits, the MPP Global micropayment solution Chelsea uses to generate revenue from premium web and mobile content. Fans can purchase credits by credit or debit card, a premium rate phone-line or SMS message and redeem them for a range of services including highlights, commentary, ringtones and Webmail accounts.
Chelsea’s large database of fans will be emailed with free video tease clips showing 10-seconds of highlights and inviting them to view the rest using CFC credits.
MPP Global haspartnered with Lawton eMarketing to provide their Video Email service, Trailermail. Trailermail streams the video clip once the email is opened in the inbox or in web-based email accounts. Trailermail has been successfully used by leading record label BMG, gaming giant Nintendo, Sony Playstation and Electronic Arts, the world’s biggest games manufacturer.
