MPP Global Ranks in Northern Tech Top 100 Fastest Growing Technology Companies, Wins Employee Wellbeing Award
MPP Global has received two awards during the first quarter of 2019 in recognition of the company’s financial growth and commitment to the wellbeing of its team.
The company, headquartered at Birchwood Park, Warrington, and with offices in Manchester, London, New York, Dubai, Tokyo and Sydney, has been officially listed as one of the 100 fastest growing tech companies in the North of England. The Northern Tech Top 100 recognises businesses that have experienced continuous financial growth for their three most recent financial years.
In addition, Birchwood Park announced the winners of the Expect More Awards, an initiative designed to recognise park occupiers for their excellent approach to employee workplace wellbeing. The judges were impressed with MPP Global’s focus on the wellbeing of its team and the implementation of its new Culture Code, awarding the business the ‘Medium Office’ Expect More accolade.
Paul Johnson, CEO and Co-Founder, MPP Global, explains: “A huge focal point for us is enhancing our company culture by delivering on real actions that mattered to our team. We did this by launching our Culture Code Project, to better understand our employees and invest in their wellbeing. We undertook extensive surveys of our employees to find out what truly matters to them and from the results, developed a Culture Code which encapsulates our company ethos, mission and values – essentially, our company’s DNA.”
The team at MPP Global also spent £80,000 on a complete office revamp at its Warrington HQ, modernising the space and providing an inspiring environment for staff to work in. The business has implemented regular employee forums to keep on top of feedback and ideas and provides funding and subsidies for extra-curricular activities for staff.
Johnson concludes: “Ranking in the Northern Tech Awards Top 100 and receiving Birchwood Park’s Wellbeing Award is testament to the innovation and growth we’ve experienced during the last three years as a business, in both financial and cultural terms. Our people are the lifeblood of the business, and the feedback and wellbeing of our team is paramount as we continue to grow the business and introduce new initiatives to make MPP Global one of the very best places to work in the North West.”
