At the recent Digital Content Monetisation Europe 2011 event in London the leading players in the media, entertainment and leisure industries showcased their visions of how to capitalise on the explosion in convergent media.

How to do this was the subject of much debate – but one thing that everyone appeared to agree on was that the opportunities have never been greater.

Faster broadband speeds, integrated advanced eCommerce solutions and advances in technology mean it has never been easier and quicker to do business via laptops, mobiles, tablets and connected-TVs.

The music industry leads the way, but now more and more companies across the whole media sector are pressing ahead with strategies to monetise digital content across all platforms.
